As I travel a lot for the U.S. (United States of America) is natural that I learn from my mistakes and successes, and so many people come to me to get tips and information, especially those that only give friends, different from the tips given by a company that can hide some or promotion leading pushed to generate points / commission.

Air Travel: Despite what some tour companies say, buy an airline ticket well in advance can only guarantee your place on the plane, but does not guarantee the best rate that is usually released only at the last moment, sometimes even a week before the trip therefore stay connected on promotions and tips on deals sites can give you a great discount, but beware that if you wait too long can get without traveling. Another tip related to airfare is to adjust your trip the best rate in this case to be flexible in your travel date you can generate savings of up to 50% in the total value of the ticket. When looking for your ticket on the company website always choose the option to search by price, if the airline's site has this option. Also try to change your travel date for a few days before or a few days later.

Rental Car: Whenever possible, make your reservation in Brazil, in general, companies here will offer a discount better than the counter can offer the company already in the U.S.. Try also discounts on insurance, including those that are optional. A tip for when you pull your car is bargain extras such as GPS or even a last minute upgrade, do the math and if it is worth enjoying! By removing your car use a credit card booking that is not what you want to use during the trip because the company will generate a lock in the rent of the car plus a percentage of the value to cover any expenses and even traffic fines.

Hotel / Resort: This can be a major cost of your trip, after the passage, one of the best tips I can give on this point of the trip is to choose your hotel well, not only by price but by the criticisms and opinions of the site www . tripadvisor.com . Look for the city you want to stay, the site offers a vote ranking generated by the users themselves, and this ranking I always try to stay in the Top10 or the money in your pocket will not allow down to find some cost / benefit. I am associated with a U.S. network of resorts and so I have access to very cheap rates and discounts in parks, events and shows, as a member I can invite people to take advantage of these benefits, but I can only do this for selected people because they do not want to send nobody there to make me go after embarrassment, but as I believe my readers are special people who share the same values I leave here the hint of a package I received last week: four days in a resort in Orlando for only $ 99, the resort is excellent, I know and use, you have the local swimming pool, tennis court, fitness center, and much more. You can also get a great rate for other resorts network, something like a $ 70 daily in Las Vegas. To learn more contact me , because I need to evaluate each case, and if you qualify I forward the discount. The offer is valid only outside high season and has no expiry date, be quick.

Tips Extras: Another hint on Orlando are the shows, the city always has great attractions from the Blue Man Group up singers and groups of national and international prominence. Got a nice package for some shows and I enjoy it and even go on one, or maybe more than one, follows the release I received:

Shopping in the U.S., Brazil? What is the best option?

By Ricardo Macari at 16:04:10

Unfortunately one of the more complicated services is to hire the service of MailBox, at least if you are Brazilian and want to receive products and / or correspondence in the United States, to be sent to your address in Brazil. Ok, you already understand what is right MailBox? But it costs better explain: It's like you have a mailbox, such as the Post Office in Brazil, but in the U.S., the difference is that you do not need to go up to the agency's mail, they send you, in the comfort of your address in Brazil.

I have used this type of service for several years, mainly to receive magazines and some products that you find only outside Brazil and / or sold over the internet but can not be shipped to Brazil. Easy? Yes, but not much at all depending on the company chosen, how they work, and the volume of correspondence play can get pretty expensive, as an item where I had to pay more than $ 35 for just two magazines sent.

Therefore, it is essential that you read the entire site, especially the FAQ, to inform and seek the way the company operates, the rates they charge, and even if it remains in doubt, confirm it by testing the answering service, because as I get it this is a weak point in most companies who do this kind of service.

As always in my reviews, I will not make you waste time, go straight to the point, listing the companies that had experience and I will classify them as I attended, as well as show you the cost of each.

Box Brazil: http://www.boxbrazil.com/

Subscription rate: U.S. $ 9.90/anual

Methods of payment: credit cards and international bank.

Shipping to Brazil magazine A: $ 55.00

Service: Poor. Contact form on the site did not work in 3 web browsers and Live Chat lets you expecting more than 30 minutes and disconnects, no one answers.

Access to Information: Average. Doubts are well answered in the FAQ, but the site is a little confusing to a new customer.

Sky Box: http://www.skybox.net/

Subscription rate: U.S. $ 48.00/anual

Payment: Only international credit card.

Shipping to Brazil magazine A: Approx. 16 Dollars. (28 reais).

Care: Medium. Form the site works on any browser. Live Chat does not work offline. On the phone answers fast, helpful and removes all doubt, but you do need a long distance to SP, if SP is out of this can cost a good change.

Access to Information: Bad. Site focused on current account, makes accessing the new client horrible. FAQ incomplete and does not take basic doubt as fees and payment.

Note: I do not bother much with the shipment of a product purchased on Ebay that had to cancel the service and have someone get the product in the company warehouse in Miami.

Use USA: http://www.useusa.com/

Subscription Fee: None

Methods of payment: Card, Paypal, Pay Safe and Billet.

Shipping to Brazil magazine A: Approx. 14 Dollars + Freight (Handling Fee Form + shipping chosen) (25 + Actual Shipping)

Service: Good Form the site works on any browser. Do not have Live chat. Great care via Skype, helpful, and differential. As in the SkyBox phone support is done through a number of SP, but the option of care via Skype pays.

Access to Information: Good Good site with FAQ, which takes most of the questions, but does not report charges.

Note: The focus of USEUSA is shopping, or do not have the focus on MailBox, but talking with them I got the answering service and a great price. Thank you Carla.

There are other companies in the business, but would not be fair to put them in the review without the proper use of its service, so if you use the service of another company in this industry, I recommend you let your opinion about it here in comments so everyone can be benefit from and share experiences.

Turn your phone into a GPS

By Ricardo Macari at 15:01:10

dog-picture-photo-funny-sleeping-face Recently sold my GPS because I was in my plans to buy another model with better features, but to see the market prices ended up leaving the idea for later, but unfortunately it had already provided the GPS to an acquaintance, and as "word is the word "I ended up selling my GPS, getting" in the bush without a dog. "

But in the meantime I ended up realizing that had a GPS in hand, because today I have a mobile smartphone Nokia E71 , which comes with it including Nokia Maps , a good software, but unfortunately it needs a constant data connection, to download the maps and details. There is the option to download and install maps beforehand, but in practice it does not quite. So I went searching all GPS software compatible with my phone and ended up testing many, but as time is money I will make you save money talking about the best GPS software that exists today in the market: Sygic.

The company founded in 2004 in Slovakia , had its focus on the business market, becoming a leader in the segment, which proves the great competence of the company and software. More recently opted to expand its area of operation, also going for the individual market. One of the major differences that I noticed is the Sygic its presence in virtually all platforms, from Nokia to iPhone, Linux to Windows, and soon even for Maemo .

Ok, but ultimately because it is so good? I'll highlight a few points:

- Very fast: Both the load and use.

- Easy to use: For those who already know how to use the GPS Sygic is very intuitive, but even if it is your first time after a few minutes you're on your way to your destination.

- In Portuguese of Brazil: Software entirely in Brazilian Portuguese, including voice and maps.

- Great Price: A GPS software is usually not cheap, but in the case of Sygic think a great deal, compared to current competitors. The Symbian version costs only 79 Euros, check .

Some screenshots of the software:
